Fees

L. A. R. E. Exam Applicants

All first time applicants for the L.A.R.E. shall submit a $100 non-refundable fee with application.  The design sections of the examination are administered by this Board.  Costs for these sections are:

Section C
Planning & Site Design - $205

Section E
Grading, Drainage & Storm Water Management - $205

The Council of Landscape Architectural Registration Boards (CLARB) administers the multiple choice sections (Sections A, B & D) of the L.A.R.E. by computer.  Please visit www.clarb.org () for more information on the computerized L.A.R.E.

License Renewal

All licenses must be renewed annually by June 30. 

The annual renewal fee for an active license is $170. 

The annual renewal fee for an inactive license is $25. 

All new registrants by way of the L.A.R.E. will pay an original license fee of $200, which will activate the registrant through the following June 30.

Reciprocity Applicants

Submission of application and a non-refundable fee of $250 with application.

Reinstatement

Renewal fee of $170 plus 10% penalty per month late charge (up to a 100% annual maximum) plus submission & proof of continuing education activities.
